Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden

Signs of autumn are starting to appear. The fresh and slightly crisp cool air called for a long walk through the neighborhood streets of Palo Alto. One of my favorite destinations for a casual stroll is Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden Center. I came across it one day when browsing Google Maps for green spaces. It is free and open to the public.

Many of the flowers we saw last time are now dormant replaced with shades of yellow and almost bare branches.

It was April last time I visited the garden with my camera, when many of the flowers were in bloom.

Caterpillars were everywhere!

There are many benches throughout the garden perfect for taking in the view, having a picnic, or watching your toddler enjoy the frog fountain.

A very pleasant way to spend an afternoon during any season.
