We attended an event at Play! through a Meetup group we joined. The timing was perfect for relief from the hot weather we have had this week. The air conditioning was strong. We arrived a bit early and I was able to get some pictures of the space before everyone arrived.
The large variety of open-ended toys kept Sam entertained the entire 2 hours we were there.
And the foam pit! Lots of laughter was heard from here after all the children from the Meetup group arrived. It was difficult to pull Sam away from it when it was time to go.
Several staff members were around while we were there to help with the kids and keep the place tidy.
At the time we were there, they also offered optional supervised play while the parents have a cup of coffee in the connected room next door. The manager told me this is a new feature that they are still in the ‘test-it-out’ phases of now. They also don’t always have coffee and cookies. These were things they did for us as a large group. It might be something available in the future. For now, the indoor patio is typically closed during normal business hours and only open for private events.
Sam loved it and asked to go back after his nap. So we did.
